Local cake boutique Bob The Baker Boy has launched a very exciting collaboration with the household favourite chocolate brand with a series of baked goodies made with KITKAT®, and they got everyone in the team salivating. We were all looking forward to the day of the delivery!
And the cakes totally lived up to our expectations. We know we can always trust Bob The Baker Boy. They are a stalwart in customized cakes and over-the-top birthday cakes, and they are also our family’s go-to bakery whenever we need a cake or two for occasions and celebrations.
Actually, we always tell ourselves we don’t need a reason to eat cakes. With this new collaboration with KITKAT®, this mentality is perfect because birthday or not, have a break, have a KITKAT® cake by Bob The Baker Boy!
Bob The Baker Boy’s collaboration with KITKAT® comprises an entire menu of sweet treats made with KITKAT® professional spread. The line-up is a delectable one that includes cakes, tarts, brownies and muffins – there will surely be something for everyone.
Mini Cake made with KITKAT® (S$59.90)
This is the star of the menu. A mini cake is a perfect idea since big parties aren’t allowed now, and the 6-inch cake means we can still indulge in the sweet treat even if it’s just a party for two! Made with Bob The Baker Boy’s signature 55% chocolate sponge, layered with KITKAT® spread, fresh Chantilly made with KITKAT® spread, and complete with KITKAT® bites all over the cake, this is a true treat for all KITKAT® lovers.
It may sound cloyingly sweet, but to begin with, Bob The Baker Boy’s cakes are made with less sugar, so the flavours are actually very palatable and the addition of the KITKAT® spread is really a lovely elevation.
Happiness Bake Box made with KITKAT® (S$28.90)
This little box of treats makes a cute gift! It is like a treasure box of goodies – Uji Matcha Passionfruit Tart, Chocolate Ganache Tart made with KITKAT® spread, Baked Cream Cheese Brownie made with Matcha KITKAT® fingers, Au Naturel Brownie topped with KITKAT® crumble and Moist KITKAT® Chocolate Muffins.
Yes, all for S$28.90! The Chocolate Ganache Tart was our favourite. With a buttery chocolate tart base, this sweet treat is made with KITKAT® wafer spread and filled with premium Chantilly cream, then topped with KITKAT® bites mix-ins. It is like an explosion of sweetness in your mouth first, then the wonderful bittersweet taste of the 55% chocolate will set in and the sweetness is balanced out.
All these KITKAT® keep well in the refrigerator for 2 days, but they are best enjoyed fresh on the day of delivery. This limited menu will be available exclusively on Bob The Baker Boy until mid-January 2022.
