Siang Garden Has Opened A New Outlet At Kallang
Siang Garden opened its very first outlet in Singapore at Woodlands and now with a new outlet in Kallang, we will have one more new spot to check out. So without further ado, here are some of the signature dishes that you should try out.
1. Assam Fish Head
When you’re at Siang Garden, you most definitely have to try the Assam Fish Head. It comes with greens such as tomatoes, onions, ladyfingers, pineapple, and a variety of condiments like Assam sauce, fish sauce, and lime juice. The Assam sauce is made using a passed-down recipe of at least 50 years with Peranakan influences.

2. Curry Fish Head
Next up, if you’re a spicy food lover, then go for the Curry Fish Head. It has homemade Curry sauce with various veges like long beans, eggplant, and cabbage slices. To top it all off, a generous amount of beancurd skin is added that turns to a soft texture when dipped in the curry sauce. It’s a classic Singaporean dish that we all have come to love.
3. Lobster White Bee Hoon San Xian Bee Hoon
For a seafood feast, order the Lobster White Bee Hoon San Xian Bee Hoon that’s both fresh and sweet at the same time. The sweetness comes from using fresh fishbone in the stock which elevates the entire dish. And the seafood is first stir-fried followed by adding eggs, beehoon, and finally the fish stock.
4. Chicken Floss Pork Ribs
The last but not the least item that you should try out at Siang Garden is the Chicken Floss Pork Ribs. With pork ribs marinated for a day using the special homemade sauce then deep-fried before being stir-fried in chicken stock, the pork ribs have a tender and fall-off-the-bone texture. Topped with crispy chicken floss, the dish has an extra mouthfeel to it.
