If you’re on the lookout for another place to add to your cafe-hopping list, look no further! The Coffee Code, a popular cafe in Sarawak, Malaysia, has unveiled their first outlet in Singapore at Neil Road.

Getting to this new cafe couldn’t be more convenient━it’s situated in the middle of three different MRT stations: an eight-minute walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT Station, a nine-minute walk from Outram Park MRT Station, and a 10-minute walk from Chinatown MRT Station.

Sporting a minimalistic, neutral-toned interior, this cafe is great for those who love IG-worthy aesthetics. Look forward to a selection of house-roasted coffee, bread, and an assortment of unique waffles here.

A must-try is their Bak Kwa Waffles ($18) which comes with your choice of waffle, topped with chicken bak kwa, chicken floss, cornflakes, and cream.

You can choose from two types of waffles here. Opt for the classic plain waffle, or with an additional top up of $1, their black rice flavour or nian gao topping━which are said to have a chewiness like that of mochi.

You can’t go wrong with their Berries Love You ($17), which features your choice of waffle, crowned with fresh strawberries and blueberries, then drizzled with strawberry sauce.

For something hearty, go for Avocado Mushroom ($17), which stars house-made sourdough topped with freshly mashed avocado, mushrooms, and cherry tomatoes.

Don’t miss out on their coffees too! Select from their hand-brewed or nitro-brewed specialty coffees, with prices starting from $8. Otherwise, get their regular black or white coffees, priced from $5.

Those not big on coffee can get a drink from their soda series or their non-coffee selection, which includes Emily Berries ($7), Signature Chocolate ($6/$7), Uji Matcha ($6/$7), Houjicha Oat Latte ($6/$7) and more.

If you’re craving more waffles, check out Ri Ri Cha, which also offers nian gao waffles. Otherwise, you can head to Cafe Wabi Sabi nearby for sandos and more!
