You may have heard of No. 25 Minced Meat Noodle, a bak chor mee stall in Bukit Merah that’s growing in popularity. Known for its particularly rich pork soup, which has been likened to tonkotsu broth, the stall is set to open its second outlet in One Punggol Hawker Centre on 31 October 2022.

The original stall had a lot going for it: it’s helmed by an ex-Burger & Lobster chef, it offers a unique soup, and the quality of its bak chor mee is said to be relatively high. However, it is a little hard to access via public transport. This upcoming Punggol outlet fixes this issue by being situated just three minutes away from Sam Kee LRT Station.

While the Punggol outlet has not revealed its full menu yet, we hear there are exciting new additions that were not previously available at the original stall. These dishes include Seafood Abalone Noodle, which is exclusive to the Punggol outlet, Pig Liver Soup, and Fish Maw Soup, though prices are not yet available.

For regular bak chor mee, the stall offers two options: the more affordable Minced Meat Noodle (from $4) and the Signature Minced Meat Noodle (S$7). The latter comes with the famed tonkotsu-esque soup, so be sure to get that if you can—it is said to be robust, flavourful, and full of ingredients.
