For fans of Hello Kitty, this is a place you simply have to check out! Kumoya will be having a Hello Kitty Shabu Shabu pop-up restaurant at Orchard Central from Sept 1 onwards. The restaurant will boast Hello Kitty themed decorations, including colourful Japanese motifs, kimono prints and even elements of Singapore with images of Hello Kitty hugging a Merlion.

Mini Shabu Shabu Sets From $24.90

The Mini Shabu Shabu menu is a collaboration between Kumoya and bento food artist Shirley Wong. Each Mini Shabu Shabu set starts from $24.90 and includes:

  • 1 soup base (10 flavours to choose from including flavours such as Szechuan Mala and Oishi Dashi)
  • 1 mixed vegetables pot
  • 1 meat, seafood or vegetarian set (from S$24.90 to S$33.90)
  • 1 Hello Kitty rice or beetroot noodle
  • 1 dipping sauce

There are also additional add-ons ranging from $1 to $44.90 that can be added on to the Mini Shabu Shabu Set.

There is also a kids meal available at $14.90 which includes, Japanese rice, with a choice of karaage chicken or tempura salmon, cream sauce, and an apple.

There’s nothing better than ending off a good meal with some dessert. Customers can top up $8.90 (U.P. $11.90 to $12.90) for the desserts with every Mini Shabu Shabu set order.

Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, there are six snack options to choose from. Some of the snacks include Chicken Sausage with Brown Sauce ($11.90) and Thai-style Pandan Chicken ($14.90).

Dining Duration Of 90 Minutes

Kumoya is not halal-certified but they have stated their menu does not contain pork, lard, and alcohol. The dining duration is 90 minutes and there is a minimum spending of $25 per pax. Additionally, prices are subjected to 7% GST. Reservations can be made online or via their Facebook and Instagram.
