New Pâtisserie CLÉ outlet in Bedok

Patisserie Cle - Flat lay

Formerly an online bakery, and now a successful patisserie, Pâtisserie CLÉ is set to officially open their second outlet in the Lucky Heights area of Bedok on 27 March. To celebrate their opening, they will be giving away a free almond croissant for customers who spend $25 and above between 27 and 28 March.

The owners chose to open at the estate for its tranquil and secluded location, following their flagship outlet in Paya Lebar. This second location also increases their productive capacity in order to serve ardent fans better.

This outlet will introduce new viennoiseries. Paying homage to the name of its location, their new Lucky Clover is a puff pastry that pairs savoury bacon with garlic and spring onion for added fragrance. They also have the flavourful Truffle Ziggy, which is filled with aroma from truffle cream and wild mushrooms, plus feta cheese amongst other ingredients.

For those uninitiated to Pâtisserie CLÉ, it was started by two housemates who met at internationally renowned culinary institute Ferrandi Paris. Having accumulated experience at Michelin-starred restaurants, the duo decided to extend their partnership into their own store.

Pâtisserie CLÉ is particularly known for their Orh Blanc Tart ($8), which combines the idea of French Mont Blanc with our favourite Teochew dessert orh nee. This dessert was born out of an attempt to create a Singaporean-inspired dessert during National Dayy. It ended up being a big hit.

Loyal fans can also find The Gentleman ($8), a whiskey flavoured sponge cake that is covered with whiskey ganache. This dessert combines the soul-warming effect of whiskey with the thick and creamy flavours of chocolate.

Do take note that their first outlet at Paya Lebar will be closed for renovations in the meantime!
