Obba Jjajang Express opens at Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre

It’s not hard to find jjajangmyeon in Singapore these days, especially with the likes of new hawker entries such as Wooga Jjajang. If you’re a fan of Korean food, you’d have heard of Obba Jjajang Express, another big name in the scene. Good news for Easties: the brand has opened in Pasir Ris!

The stall sits on the second floor of Pasir Ris Central Hawker Centre, a convenient four-minute walk from Pasir Ris MRT Station.

Tuck into legit Korean-Chinese dishes at wallet-friendly prices here. They’re most known for their Jajangmyeon, well-priced at $6.80 a bowl. This comes with a good portion of noodles coated in a thick and savoury black bean sauce.

Here’s a pro tip: after finishing your noodles, top up $0.70 for a bowl of rice to enjoy with the remaining sauce!

If you prefer something else, order their Jjamppong ($8.80) AKA spicy seafood noodles instead. Alternatively, share a side of Tangsuyuk ($9.80), starring crispy fried pork slices tossed in a sweet and sour sauce.
