Recently opened, DOUGH is located at CHIJMES. Inspired by overseas bakeries, the founders had decided to bring a similar concept to Singapore. Although the items served are Korean-inspired, the interior has notes of Danish style. Minimal, and sleek at the same time, DOUGH certainly looks upscale with marble tops, and forest green accents.

With a coffee bar located in the middle of the floor, you will be greeted with the smell of freshly brewed coffee and baked goods. Using one of the best brands for coffee making, expect every cup of joe to be well-executed, and up to your liking. Apart from the eye-catching interior and wondrous smell of coffee, you will need to order yourself some scrumptious baked goods.

DOUGH is famous for three baked goods – Strawberry Brioche, Matcha Mochi Bun, and Passionfruit Black Tea Cake. First up, Strawberry Brioche is a combination of strawberry and basil. Those who had tried it mentioned that the cream is pretty light, and the buns are soft. It looks definitely ‘gram-worthy with dusty pink hues! Of course, no bakeries in Singapore are complete without Matcha Mochi Bun.

Well-presented with an absolutely crunchy top, some mentioned that the Matcha Mochi Bun is pretty simple in flavours. Presenting the most ‘gram-worthy baked goods of them all, Passionfruit Black Tea Cake. Loved by many, the little cake has an amazing flavour from the passionfruit cream. It is perfectly paired with the coffee choices at DOUGH!
