Knock Knock Cafe at Kallang

Knock Knock Cafe, located along Geylang Road, first gained traction online for its pretty interior, including a large flower wall that stretches across the cafe. They have recently undergone a revamp to include more IG-worthy features and spots, along with an expanded menu and brand new brunch items, which are served on weekends from 10am to 5pm. They’re also running a 1-for-1 promotion on all pastas till 31 March 2022!

Additionally, since Knock Knock Cafe prides itself on being work-friendly for customers, there are power sockets scattered throughout the cafe for you to charge your devices, as well as free high-speed WiFi for all to use.

Now, you’ll be able to enjoy classic brunch plates such as Millionaire Bacon Eggs Benedict ($14+), Grilled Triple Cheese and Ham Sandwich ($15+), and Smashed Avo Eggs Toastie ($16+) on Saturdays and Sundays.

Part of the expanded menu here are two new pasta dishes: Kreamy Mushroom Spaghetti ($16+) and Ga-Na-Chye Chilled Capellini with Smoked Duck ($16+), where you’ll get both plates for the price of one this March. More notably, the latter includes Chinese preserved olives, smoked duck, and tobiko.

The Humble Scoop Review: Locally Inspired Ice Creams In Flavours Like Ribena Ripple, Honey Lemon And More

Both pastas are available as part of their 1-for-1 promotion all day on weekdays, along with others including Umami Laksa Seafood Pasta ($18+) and Hae Bee Hiam Aglio Olio with Tiger Prawns ($17+). The lower-priced pasta will be free of charge. That works out to just $5+ a plate of Knock Knock’s Aglio Olio (U.P. $10+) without tiger prawns!

Another new addition to the menu is the Iberico Char Siew Burger ($23+), which comprises a thick slab of Spanish Iberico pork collar and strips of deep-fried wonton skin that add extra crispiness to each bite.

Another new feature is this ice cream cart, which adopts a pastel pink theme with a large neon sign. Take your pick of ice cream from Udder’s Singapore Chendol, Salted Caramel, Cookies & Cream and more. Ice cream flavours and toppings are available on a rotational basis.

You’ll also get to watch as the staff prepare the Beary Cute Ice Cream ($8+), which comes with three toppings of your choice. The Beary Cute Ice Cream is also available in a cone ($6.50), but you can choose to get a regular ice cream cup ($5.50+) without the bear details as well.
