Mother Dough Bakery, one of the popular bakeries in Singapore, is started by Naadhira, who started her baking journey in New York, before opening her own bakery in 2018.
Fashion PR Switches Career Path
The founder and head baker of Mother Dough Bakery, Naadhira, was working in New York as a fashion PR. After five years working in her previous job, she had realised that she wanted to change. In 2012, she had enrolled herself at The International Culinary Institute in New York. After graduation, she had work in several bakeries in New York, including one in Brooklyn where she learns the ways of slow fermentation.
Opens Up Her Own Artisanal Bakery In S’pore
Founded in 2018, Mother Dough Bakery was initially located on North Bridge Road before moving to Jalan Kledek. The outlet is located inside a two-story heritage building. On the first floor, it has a long pastry case with delectable choices of pastries, bread, and cakes waiting for you. On the second floor, there is a seating area. Beverages are served here, too.
At Mother Dough Bakery, you will be able to feast on different baked goods such as croissants, baguettes, brioche, and quiches. Apart from these palatable choices, spreads of cakes are available, too. Indulge in choices such as lemon cake, banana walnut cake, and fruit and nut cake.
