There are a lot of places in Singapore that offer a bowl of delicious bak chor mee. No, really. You will be able to find bak chor mee in most food centres and hawker centres islandwide. In all types of dishes, there will be one that reigns supreme. In the case of bak chor mee, Tai Wah Pork Noodle at Hong Lim Complex would be considered as the most popular. Heads up, it will be finally opening a second outlet!

Tai Wah Pork Noodle has been the go-to place to get a bowl of hearty bak chor mee. It is no surprise that there will always be a snaking queue around the clock. Churning out delicious plates of bak chor mee, it has caught the attention of Michelin, and it was recognised in 2018 and 2019. Based on 8 Days, Tai Wah Pork Noodle will be opening a second outlet at FoodHub in Bedok Central on 1st August.

Tai Wah Pork Noodle offers two versions of bak chor mee, dry, and soup. Most of the time, people would opt for the dry version of bak chor mee. It is loved by many because everything is cooked meticulously, and the taste has always been on point. Savoury, with a good hint of vinegar. A downside would be the prices are considerably expensive for hawker food, with prices starting at $6.

It is reported that the prices for the second outlet will be lowered down by a dollar. Apart from bak chor mee, you can also slurp on mixed pork soup, and Signature Tai Wah Pork Noodles. We are excited about the opening of the second outlet! At the moment, Hong Lim Complex is closed until 31st July 2021. We will have to wait for a couple of days for the opening!
