KOPI AND TEH PENG ICE CREAM CREAMIER

Creamier National Day ice creams

Homegrown ice cream brand Creamier joins the league of National Day food exclusives with their latest trio of locally inspired ice cream flavours—Kopi Peng, Teh Peng, and Kaya Toast.

The first two flavours nod to the local breakfast beverages we all know and love. Creamier has collaborated with old-school coffee roasters Kim Guan Guan to create these flavours, and trust us when we say the ice creams taste just like the beverages they are named after.

The Kopi Peng is the sinful morning pick-me-up we deserve. The coffee ice cream base is made with sock-brewed coffee, pulled from roasted Robusta beans, made extra creamy with milk. It is as sugary and aromatic as kopi peng, so if you don’t have a super sweet tooth, maybe this isn’t for you.

Instead, try the Teh Peng, made from Kenyan black tea dust, and caramelised milk for added body. Well-rounded with the bitter, floral profile of black tea, the ice cream is further laced with tea dust to intensify the notes of teh with every scoop.

Rounding off the trio is the Kaya Toast, where pandan flavoured ice cream is made from fresh pandan leaves, not extract, and caramelised coconut milk. The addition of buttered toast completes the recipe, offering an extra-rich dose of dairy to the final scoop.
