Starting from 12th July (2021), groups of five people are allowed to dine-in. This announcement was made by Multi-ministry Taskforce (MTF) via virtual doorstop on 7th July. Similar to the updated dine-in pax, social gathering group size is also five people per group. As usual, you will need to keep your masks on at all times except for when you are eating. Rules that were set when dine-in is allowed have been carried forward. This includes entertainment programmes such as live performances, recorded music, and television screening is not allowed.

This is to ensure that patrons do not have to raise their voices, and reduce the expulsion of droplets. Apart from dine-in, wedding receptions up to 250 pax will be allowed with pre-event testing. Gyms and fitness studios can be conducted with up to 50 people. Although Singapore is opening up, working at home remains as default at the moment. With that said, when you are dining out, be sure to follow all safety measures!
