Food in 313 Somerset

313 Somerset, alternatively known as 313@Somerset, is my favourite mall in the Orchard area, not only for its abundance of retail stores but also because it brims with many food options. If you’re spoilt for choice over where to eat in this mall, check out our 313 Somerset food guide, with 20 places for mala jjamppong, volcano beef don, and more.

1. Paris Baguette

313 somerset food paris baguette

Paris Baguette recently opened a two-storey outlet in the mall, taking over the space where Broitzeit used to be. Apart from the usual offerings, this outlet sees a new range of Beer-Based Cocktails (from $11) which are exclusive to the Somerset outlet.

We particularly enjoyed the Hadong Green Tea Crystal ($13), a refreshing blend of green tea, green grapes, and mint leaves. If you’re a coffee lover, go for the Cafe Adagio Espresso Crystal ($11), which highlights a strong espresso bitterness.

2. Papa Ayam

Not many of us have heard about ayam geprek, which is essentially ayam penyet cooked with boneless chicken, then blanketed in sambal. Papa Ayam is one such eatery that brought this dish to Singapore, serving up renditions with salted egg yolk to suit our local palate.

Purists can opt for the Ayam Geprek Original ($6.90) that comes slathered with garlic sambal. There are 15 spice levels for this dish to choose from, with a $0.50 top-up for levels 11 to 15. If spice is not your forte, their Ayam Geprek Salted Egg ($7.10) makes for a safe option. These dishes are usually served with rice, though you can switch to Indomie for an additional $0.60.
