Punggol Food

Eat at these Punggol food spots

Born and bred in Bedok, I was surrounded by a bunch of great eats for close to 25 years. Seriously, my house was directly opposite Fengshan Bedok 85 Market, while my school was just two bus stops away from Simpang Bedok and all these Tanah Merah food places. So when I moved to Punggol, I was ready to eat home-cooked food daily. That was until I found out about these 22 Punggol food places that made me think my new hood isn’t so bad after all.

Update: Georges By The Bay is closed till further notice.

17. Genki Sushi

Genki Sushi is by far, the most popular eatery at Waterway Point. Its affordable sushi tends to draw a long line at any time of the day, and they’re especially popular among the younger crowd. My go-to dish here is the Dai Man Zoku range of sushi. They’re approximately 1.5 times bigger than the regular ones, making it a fun experience to pop everything in one bite. Each piece is priced at $1.90++, and some of my favourites in this range include the Jumbo Ebi Fry and Maguro Tataki.
