Yakiniku-Oh has new A4 Wagyu platters from $12.80++ at Somerset
Those familiar with Cuppage Plaza at Somerset will know that it is a treasure trove of authentic Japanese food. Recently, one of the mall’s mainstays, Yakiniku-Oh, released new A4 Wagyu platters that are both delectable and value-for-money. This is on top of its already vast catalogue of barbecue meat items.
The new Suki Yakiniku Wagyu platters all feature moreish cuts of A4 Wagyu meat imported from Japan. You can also upgrade them to a set meal, which comes with a bowl of rice, miso soup, salad, and raw egg for dipping.
The Suki Yakiniku Wagyu Kalbi and Suki Yakiniku Wagyu Loin are both priced at $12.80++ a la carte. But should you drop by during lunch from (12pm to 3pm daily), you can get a set meal that sets you back just $15.80++—an absolute steal for the quality of meat you’re getting!
For an even better cut, opt for the Suki Yakiniku Special Wagyu ($17.80++/lunch set price $22.80++). This set features harami, AKA skirt steak, which has a bolder flavour and melts in your mouth with ease.
If you’d like more variety with each platter of meat, Yakiniku-Oh has plenty of opinions too. We recommend the 3 Kinds of Beef ($24.80++) platter, which gets you three succulent cuts of Wagyu that amount to 250g in total.
And if you’d like even more exquisite cuts to choose from, there’s the 6 Kinds of Beef ($69.80++) platter, which weighs 500g. In short, you’ll be faced with an abundance of choices at Yakiniku-Oh.
For those who don’t want to choose between these different platters and sets, go for the Yakiniku-Oh Buffet ($80++ per person for two hours). With a minimum of three guests, you get to indulge in over 151 food and 41 drink options, including alcohol. Do note that reservation is required one day in advance.
