Well, here’s one at Admiralty Street that is made just for you!
Unique Bak Kut Teh With Tender Pork Ribs & Noodles
Malu Malu Wah Seng Bak Kut Noodle serves bak kut teh with noodles. Indeed, it is a rarity as most bak kut teh spots in Singapore offer pots of bak kut teh to be shared with your friends and family. Rest assured that every piping hot bak kut teh ordered is made with finesse, as this humble stall has an interesting history. Back in the 1950s, it started off as a handmade fishball noodles stall, and it slowly progressed to being bak kut soup today.
Famous for Bak Kut Soup, there are two versions to try from, Bak Kut Mee Dry, and Bak Kut Mee Soup. The dry version comes noodles tossed in a medley of sauces, coating every part of the noodles. Loved by many, it has a combination of sweet and savoury taste. Paired with a bak kut teh soup, the broth has an intense note as it is boiled with ginger, garlic, peppercorns, and of course, pork bones.
You have guessed it, Bak Kut Mee Soup comes with noodles in the bak kut teh. Although it may appear to have similar concept, many loved the dry version more. Perhaps, the eating experience feels slightly different. When you are here, you will need to try out Braised Pork Trotter. Extremely tender and flavourful, it makes the perfect pairing to the noodles! Last but not the least, wash it all down with fishball soup. Wholesome.
