Situated inside Katong Shopping Centre, Dona Manis Cake Shop has been around for more than 30 years. Operated by the same owners, they are now more than 70 years old. Despite operating the shop for so many years, the owners of Dona Manis Cake Shop are humble, and helpful. It offers a variety of baked goods, such as chocolate tarts, cream horns, and cream puffs.

It all starts with buttery and flaky crust with heavenly notes of coconut encasing sweet banana fillings. There is no added sugar, just sweetness from the ripen bananas! For that extra crunch, the top part of the pie consists of crispy roasted almonds.
Although every slice of pie is pretty thick, one slice is never enough. According to many netizens, it is very addictive. One slice of pie is priced at $2.80. As it is a hot selling item and it is occasionally sold out, many people will buy the entire pie for $28. Do take note that it is often sold out before 4:00 p.m., so you will need to go early if you would like a slice of banana pie.
