Upon order, the seafood are first stir-fried to give it some wok hei before it is simmered in the broth. This allows the seafood to soak up all the flavour of the broth before it is added into a plate of white vermicelli, spring onions and cabbage.

Woon Woon’s stock of seafood is brought in fresh every day and you can certainly tell from the first bite!. The freshness of each ingredient used is tasted in every bite! Additionally, the freshness of the seafood is not masked by the spices used, allowing the flavour of the broth and seafood to blend perfectly together.

The broth has a sweet-savoury taste to it and the flavour is enhanced with the help of the seafood. On top of that, there is none of that MSG-induced thirst so don’t be shy to finish the whole bowl! Every sip will make you want to scream “shiok!”.

The fish slices are thick and tender, without having any trace of the fishy smell. Although the prawns aren’t that big in size, the quantity definitely makes up for it. Additionally, the prawn is sliced down the back, allowing you to de-shell with ease. Perfect for those who are too lazy to peel their prawns! Woon Woon’s crayfish are full of meat and has the perfect amount of chewiness. The crayfish soaks up the flavour of the broth, making every bite an explosion of seafood goodness.
