With fried rice being famously known in Indonesia, Daun Bistro brings a taste of it to the shores of Singapore. Using special homemade spices, what you get is scrumptious fried rice that’s full of flavour, with a touch of that familiar Indonesian spices. Served with a spicy Sambal Bawang as well, be sure to pair it with your rice for an extra fiery and savoury kick that elevates each bite!
On top of that, Emping Melinjo, the famous Indonesian cracker is also served alongside the fried rice. It is said to be an acquired taste due to its bitterness but you can eat it with some sambal to alleviate the bitter aftertaste. Giving this dish a delicious meaty element is a juicy ribeye steak that pairs perfectly with the rice and will certainly satisfy all meat lovers.
Signature Special Soup Buntut ($16.80)

Being one of their signature dishes, their Special Oxtail Soup is a definite must-try. Enjoy a comforting and robust broth that’s bursting in flavour with each sip. Served with tender and succulent pieces of oxtail, there’s a pleasant meaty taste to it without it being too gamey, making it really palatable. Be sure to add some of the lime juice and homemade sambal for an extra touch of acidity and spice.
