The Blueberry Min Jiang Kueh ($1) comes with blueberry jam and blueberry bits! The blueberry filling is so generous, they definitely did not skimp on the ingredients. Since the Min Jiang Kueh pancake is not overly sweet, the blueberry helped to bring out the flavours of the pancake! It balanced well with the pancake and it gives off a nostalgic flavour. Since there are blueberry bits, it gave it more texture to the pancake! It is rather interesting to be served blueberries with Min Jiang Kueh, so if you’re someone who enjoys sweet flavours, this one’s for you!

Another unique flavour being sold at Sumang Pancakes is Chilli Shrimp ($2)!They definitely do not skimp on ingredients here as the pancake is filled with loads of Chilli Shrimp! The chilli shrimp filling has both sweet and salty flavours, with a very mild kick of spice. Since the pancake did not have much flavour, the filling helped to bring out the flavours of it and elevated the taste!
Despite leaving them out for quite some time, the Min Jiang Kueh was still chewy and soft. It was also easy to rip apart so you can take your time to enjoy this pancake!
