One of the more popular stalls at this quaint little hawker centre, Jia Jia Xing Pigs Organ Soup also serves up a tasty bowl of pig trotters that goes perfect with their pig organ soup. One plus point of the stall is that they offer free refills, allowing you to drink their incredible soup to your heart’s content! Something else that you don’t find very often at other stalls which Jia Jia Xing offers is their yam rice ($1)! This definitely makes them stand out from the rest!

The Pig Organ Soup ($5, additional $0.50 for rice) comes with an array of ingredients like pork slices, meatballs, pig stomach and liver, and pork belly as well! The soup is incredibly flavourful, with a strong Szechuan vegetable flavour which is pretty unique! The pork slices and pork belly are amazingly tender, while the meatballs are full of flavour and have a good bite to them.

As for the pig organs, they are cleaned thoroughly, ensuring you get none of that overwhelming porky taste! Both the pig stomach and liver have a pleasant chewy texture and they pair perfectly with the chilli! Each bite with the chilli gives you a delightful burst of tanginess and spice that blends beautifully with the flavour of the pork!
