Previously known as 108 eating house, Good Old Taste first started in 1997, where it opened at The Arcade at Raffles Place. Mainly offering Pig Trotter Bee Hoon and Chicken RIce, their authentic traditional recipes used were a hit among customers. Fast forward to today, Good Old Taste still continues to draw crowds of loyal customers in the CBD area and often has long lines of people queueing up for a taste of their delicious food.
Don’t let the simple looks of this bee hoon fool you, because it’s full of flavour! The bee hoon is cooked with the pig trotter and the flavours are infused into the noodles. Every sinful bite is an explosion of flavour that’ll have you craving for more! Chunks of the braised pork can be found with the noodles and every bite of it together is heavenly!
Just when you thought it couldn’t get better, a generous amount of pork lard is topped off for that extra umami and crunch! Pair the bee hoon with your favourite ingredients such as luncheon meat, otah, and fish cake for a satisfying meal! Prices vary depending on ingredients or alternatively, you can order the available set meals served at $4.50.

Do note they only serve the bee hoon until 10.30am so head down early before it’s sold out! Alternatively, you can also head down during lunch for a tasty plate of Chicken Rice.
