The cafe is named after its owner and chef. Diners can enjoy a serene view by the poolside while enjoying the cafe’s pasta, burgers, and other mains and sides. What’s more, everything on the menu is nett-priced!

By far one of the most popular dishes here is the Carbonara ($15). Served with a heaping portion of tagliatelle, the use of guanciale here brings a hint of smokiness to the dish.

Other pasta dishes available here include the Squid Linguine ($14), Prawn Angel Hair ($13), and the Basil Pesto Pasta ($8.50), with the last one being vegan-friendly.

As for burgers, The Impossible Burger here is definitely one of the cheaper ones you can find. For $15, the Impossible patty is stacked with a slice of sharp cheddar, slices of tomato, and lettuce.

The newest dish on their menu, Ayam Goreng Berempah ($12), is the only Asian dish on the menu thus far. This plate of fragrant coconut rice, juicy fried chicken thigh and sunny-side-up is only available on selected Wednesdays, so do follow their Instagram to stay updated.

Mervyn’s Madeleines offers a variety of drinks that lets you pretend you’re lounging by a pool in Bali, but it seems the Mango Smoothie with Yoghurt Balls ($4.90) is the most popular.

Available in either Citrus ($9.90) or Matcha ($12), you can also choose to get a Mix Box ($12). Do note that the Matcha Madeleines must be ordered at least one day in advance.

If you’re not a huge fan of madeleines, fret not, as they offer other pastries too, such as Chocolate Hazelnut Cookies ($10 for 10), which feature a house-made hazelnut butter.
