Occupying a row of three stalls, each unit serves up its own speciality, with one unit serving their popular nasi biryani, the other offering nasi campur, and the third unit serving mee soto and mee rebus. Ms Syahiirah and her mother focus mainly on Golden Nur while her aunts and uncles run the neighbouring stalls, Despite this, they all still help one another when the stalls get busy, embodying the true spirit of a family-run business.

The Crispy Chicken Biryani ($6.50) is served with a bed of fluffy and aromatic rice, a side of achar, and not forgetting the star of the dish, the glorious piece of fried chicken. Pairing well with the rice, the curry adds a pleasant layer of spice and tang.

The chicken is fried really well, giving the skin a delightful crispiness. As it gets a tad dry after a while, be sure to pair it with some curry to keep it moist. Marinated well, enjoy it with the rice and curry for an extra shiok bite!
Topped with crunchy chicken bits, it adds amazing crunch and flavour to each bite, even allowing you to enjoy it on its own with the rice! Overall, Golden Nur truly serves up a tasty and hearty dish, making it no surprise that it continues to draw snaking queues daily. Hurry down for a taste today!
