If you’re unfamiliar with Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop, it’s a relatively new concept by Tenderfresh—one of Singapore’s most well-known fried chicken chains. After opening their outlet in Woodlands and Jalan Kayu, they are opening their newest drive-thru inclusive outlet in Punggol, along with a Cat & The Fiddle cafe tucked within the fried chicken eatery.
Tenderbest Makcik Tuckshop Review: Tenderfresh’s First Ever Cafe Serving Fried Chicken Everything
When you’re there, don’t miss out on Tenderfresh’s signature Fried Spring Chicken ($18.50), which features a well-seasoned layer of crispy skin on the outside that encases tender and juicy meat within. If one whole chicken is too much for you, get the 2-piece set for $7.50 instead!
They also have dishes such as Fries With Meat Sauce And Egg ($6.90). Served in a mini ceramic pot, the fries are blanketed by a tomato meat sauce and an egg. It’s an rich and flavourful combination, but if you relish fries for their crunch, you might want to opt for the Fries With Cheese Sauce ($4.90) instead.

End your meal with sweet treats from the Cat & The Fiddle cafe, nestled within Tenderbest. This will be their second cafe kiosk, after their first one in Woodlands.

Contrary to the popular belief that Cat & The Fiddle only serves cheesecakes, the cafe also offers Cheesy Soft Serve and waffles. You can have this savoury-sweet ice cream on a cone ($5.90) or a waffle ($10.90) . They also have other flavours such as the Decadent Chocolate Soft Serve with waffles for $12.90.

If you’ve not heard of Cat & The Fiddle, it is owned by renowned local pastry chef Daniel Tay, and is particularly known for their smooth and creamy cheesecakes. You can get them in slices (from $5.90) or as a whole cake ($42.90) if you’re sharing this sweet treat with your friends and family!
