Sourbombe Bakery Jewel Changi
Sourbombe Bakery by MasterChef Singapore runner-up Genevieve Lee was one of the handful of doughnut brands responsible for bringing the bombolini hype to Singapore. Come August 2022, you can get their signature stuffed sourdough doughnuts at Jewel Changi, as the bakery will be opening their second brick-and-mortar store at the airport mall.
Sourbombe Bakery Has Sourdough Doughnuts With Burnt Cheesecake And Hojicha Fillings
Sourbombe Bakery first began as an online business, and gained massive popularity online for their unique flavours. Boxes of their stuffed cream doughnuts would frequently sell out during bake sales. In July 2021, they opened their first physical bakery in Dhoby Ghaut’s Park Mall, and are now expanding with their first East side bakery with Sourbombe Jewel Changi.
The bakery will offer a range of their sourdough bomblinis, in many of their popular flavours. Some to look out for include their Cinnabombe, Blueberry & Lemon Thyme ($4.80), Lavender Lime Mascarpone, Basque Burnt Cheesecake ($5.60), Hojicha Caramel ($5.60), and Passionfruit & Caramelised Banana ($5.60).
They recently launched viennoiserie, croissants, and tarts, all with unique toppings or fillings characteristic of the brand. We’re not sure if these will make an appearance at Sourbombe Jewel Changi, but we do know they’ll have some outlet exclusives: soft-serve ice cream, which you can enjoy on sourdough waffles, a cone, or on a bombolini! They will also sell sourdough dipping bowls with scrambled eggs, guacamole, and burrata. Prices have yet to be confirmed.
Sourbombe’s upcoming opening in Jewel isn’t the only popular brand gracing the Changi mega mall. Other big hits include The Original Vadai, Sushiro, Fong Sheng Hao, Kei Kaisendon, and more!
