Happy news for lovers of fried dough desserts with holes in the centre. A well-known international doughnut brand will soon make a temporary appearance in Singapore. Mister Donut will make its first appearance in Singapore as a pop-up kiosk on July 15. This brand is well-known in Japan, so it is no surprise they are coming to Singapore, even if it’s only for a month.

Mister Donut’s founder, Harry Winokur, was the brother-in-law of Dunkin’ Donuts founder, William Rosenberg. According to Japan Today, the pair founded Dunkin’ Donuts, but due to licencing disagreements, Winokur left and founded his own doughnut company, Mister Donut. Despite the fact that Dunkin’ Donuts reigned supreme in the United States, Mister Donut found success in Japan.

Doughnut flavours include Chocolate, Coconut Chocolate, Honey Dip, Strawberry, Custard Cream, and Angel Cream, among others. Mister Donut’s signature product in Japan is the Pon De Ring, which is a circle of eight dough balls. Each doughnut goes for $2.30 or $2.50. You can also get any six doughnuts for $13.50 or any ten for $22.
Mark Your Calendars For July 15 For Mister Donut!
Do note that unfortunately, the Mister Donut kiosk will only be open for a month and will be gone after. The pop-up kiosk, according to WAttention Plaza, is for the brand’s “test marketing.” We suggest trying them out before they’re gone for good!
