Bello, Bello! For fans of the cute little yellow characters, the Minion Café is back – this time in the heart of Clarke Quay.
The current pop-up period is from 28 October 2021 to 2 January 2022.
For the uninitiated, the Minions are small, yellow fictional creatures which gained much fame after their appearance in the movie Despicable Me.
Fun fact: They serve the most terrible of villains, have five different hairstyles, and enjoy eating bananas.
There was actually once a pop-up Minion Café in Singapore back in 2017, though they received a relatively low Google rating of 2.4 out of 5 then generally due to the higher price and lukewarm food. Miam Miam! Huh?
This time, the food is brought by 1-Group which is behind concepts like The Garage and The Summerhouse.
With themed menu dishes and Minions-inspired artwork, the café attempts to offer an immersive experience creating the colourful backdrop for fans to create Instagram and TikTok worthy posts.
Fans may also look forward to vibrant and Minion-inspired eats such as the Minion Big Pan Breakfast ($28), Minion Kelong Prawn and Scallop Minion Pizza ($32), Minion Wagyu Lunch Plate ($28), Minion Wagyu Cheese Burger ($32), and for dessert the Minion Banana Boat ($18).
Aside from dishes based on PARCO Japan’s menu, new Singaporean inspired dishes such as the Minion Singapore Prawn Noodle ($24) and Minion Pumpkin Mantou with Chilli Crab Dip ($15 for 4 pcs) are specially created for the local.
Minion Wagyu Lunch Plate ($28)
Wagyu burger patty with Minion rice balls, fried prawns, sunny side up, mini chicken sausage and creamy potato puree. There is also a meat-free version included with Beyond patty.

Minion Pumpkin Mantou with Chilli Crab Meat Dip ($15)
Cute mantou decorated like Minions, with a Singapore chilli crab sauce inspired dip.
Minion Kelong Prawn & Scallop Pizza ($26)
12 inch pizza topped with tiger prawns, scallops, mascarpone, mozzarella cheese and adorable Minion faces. Hmmm….
Minion Mac & Cheese ($18)
Macaroni pasta with turkey bacon and cheddar cheese.
Minion Banana Boat ($18)
Have two types of ice cream – strawberry and cotton candy on sponge cake and accompanied with corn flakes, mango whipped cream and blueberries.
Yellow Bellow Pineapple ($9)
A pineapple and lemon juice beverage included with pineapple compote, passionfruit, digestive biscuits, and whipped cream.
Minion Banana Drink ($9)
A banana milk drink included with banana fruit slice and cornflakes.
