Le Matin Patisserie new cafes
Le Matin Patisserie has become a household name for refined pastries in Singapore. Founded by chef Mohamed Al-Matin, formerly of the pastry sous-chef of the three Michelin-starred Noma in Copenhaagen, Le Matin Patisserie began as an online business before it moved to a central kitchen at Outram Park. This year, the chef has revealed two upcoming, central pop-up cafes, in an interview with 8days.

First is a self-service concept in Telok Ayer along 77 Robinson Road, with 30 tables in the dining area. Customers can come, order pastries and coffee, and enjoy them on-site. Le Matin Patisserie will occupy this address till the end of the year.
There’s also going to be a second pop-up opening concurrently at Paragon Orchard, albeit a much smaller one. Located within Porcelain Spa, the cafe will operate for up to six months.

Both concepts are slated to open from 1 April onwards, barring any issues.

Fans can expect a menu of pastries both savoury and sweet, akin to the one served out of the Outram Park flagship. Keep your eyes out for their famed Kouign Amann, Pain Au Chocolat, and Pistachio Escargot.
The latter product, a crowd favourite with Le Matin regulars, is a buttery viennoiserie with a nutty pistachio swirl.

Apart from the signature trio, the patisserie has a rotating menu of pastries that push the flavourful boundaries of French pastries, from a Smoked Cruffin to a Fermented Mushroom Quiche. Local touches rear their head from time to time too, found in products such as the Hae Bee Hiam Laminated Donut Roll.
Pastries are priced at around $4 and up. Aside from getting your Le Matin fix IRL at these new cafes, you can also order their pastry boxes on their website.
