Kedai Kopi Haig Road
Last year, Kedai Kopi opened its first all-halal kopitiam in Clementi to much success. Muslim-friendly stalls selling everything from fried chicken, “bak chor” mee, to XXL bandung yakult were introduced to diners in the West, and now, it’s time for East siders to get a slice of the pie. Kedai Kopi will be opening their second outlet in Haig Road come mid-June 2021.

Decked with nine different concepts from its West-side counterpart, the kopitiam at Haig Road will also introduce some never-seen-before hawker stalls to the ‘hood.

Most notable is Mala Mama, a mala tang venture by seafood and lobster roll eatery Pince & Pints. This is their first-ever hawker stall, at which fans can expect to find numbingly spicy mala soup, a popular counterpart to everyone’s favourite mala xiang guo.

Crave Nasi Lemak & Teh Tarik will also be opening a stall on the compound, the first time this beloved nasi lemak brand has gone into hawker territory.
Next, the Tenderfresh group, which also co-runs Kedai Kopi, will have a handful of outlets within the compound: Tenderbest, for crispy fried chicken, Mee Bagus, for halal bak chor mee, Hawkerman, for fusion Western food, and Pasta Pizza, for affordable pasta, and made-to-order pizzas.

Get excited by halal zi char too, as a zi char stall known as Rasa Sedap Seafood will be opening in there too, with Muslim-friendly spins on familiar zi char dishes, like Salted Egg Butter Crab.
