Jurong Point has a Japanese food street
If you’ve been to Jurong Point, you’ll know that this West-side mall is a massive, sprawling collection of entertainment, food, and shopping. Head down to Basement One, however, and you’ll find yourself transported to one of Japan’s famed shopping streets at the newly-relaunched &JOY Japanese Food Street.
With 11 different concepts spanning sushi, yakiniku, bread, ramen, and more, it’s a one-stop foodie destination for Japanese food lovers both young and old. What’s more, all of these eateries are now running limited-time promotional deals from now till 18 September 2022!
Head to Yakiniku-GO (#B1-55) for wallet-friendly grilled meats from just $3.50++. Whether you’re here with friends, or to dine solo, there are well-sized set meals and a la carte portions, with beef, chicken, and even seafood options.
If you’re looking to treat yourself, they’ve even got Wagyu A5 Miyazaki ($30.80++ for 100g) that melts in your mouth to buttery ends. Then, there’s their signature Yakiniku-GO Set (from $17.80++), which comes with beef tongue, short plate, and even a ribeye steak!
For even better value, their Karubi Set (U.P. $15.80++) now comes with 200g of beef━double what you’d usually get, and at a discounted price of $10.80++ for a limited time!
The meats are served pre-sliced, with marbled fat that spits and sizzles on the grill.
There’s also Sushi-GO (#B1-47/48), where you can choose from more than 150 types of sushi, sent to your table via mini bullet trains that look just like the Shinkansen in Japan!
In conjunction with the relaunch of the Japanese food street, get any item from their GO Series for just $3++, down from the usual price range of $3.50++ to $4++.

If you’re looking for a quick and easy meal, get yourself a yakitori rice box from Wadori (#B1-49), where the skewers are grilled on-site.
Pick your own sticks to pair with a box of rice, or choose from one of their preset combos at $9.90, which includes rice, chawanmushi, and miso soup.
If you always find yourself topping up for more skewers with your rice boxes, you can now get two sticks of either Gyoza ($1.60 each) or Ebi Fry ($1.70 each) for just $1.40!
Another casual dining option at Jurong Point’s Japanese food street is Idaten Udon (#B1-50), which serves udon and rice bowls that you can pair with freshly fried tempura. Last but not least, round off your trip to this Japanese food street with the ever-popular Gokoku Japanese Bakery (#B1-79/82). Hailing from Kobe, Japan, Gokoku has been making hearty buns with high-quality ingredients since 1961.
The buns here are simple, but oh-so-good. Go for any of the top 10 bestsellers, which include Gokoku Shichifuku Pan, Malt Kurumi Pan, Mochi Mochi Cheese, and Signature Hokkaido Red Bean Anpan, to appreciate the textures and flavours of these bakes.
