The announcement was made by the multi-ministry task force as they recorded its highest number of community cases since the pandemic began for two consecutive days since Monday. There were 163 locally transmitted cases on Monday, majority of it being linked to the Jurong Fishery Port Cluster which has 179 cases. A total of 193 cases has also been linked to the KTV cluster.
