Love Bak Kwa? Love Ice Cream? If you love both, then this might catch your attention! Singapore’s most popular Bak Kwa brand Bee Cheng Hiang has released their own line of ice cream! Featuring a vanilla ice cream mixed with smoky bak kwa bits, this is certainly a step up from their Bak Kwa creations!
Bee Cheng Hiang Bak Kwa Ice Cream
Ice Cream and Bak Kwa definitely sounds unconventional but it actually goes well together! The creamy vanilla ice cream pairs pretty well with the smoky bak kwa bits. Think of it as a sweet-savoury ice cream! The sweetness of the bak kwa’s marinate actually complements the flavour of the vanilla ice cream. It might be a bit of an acquired taste but it’s definitely worth giving it a try!
The Bak Kwa Ice Cream is currently selling at $10.25 for a twin pack at NTUC FairPrice and Sheng Siong supermarkets.
Additionally, it is sold at the following Bee Cheng Hiang outlets:
- Ang Mo Kio
- Bedok North
- Bugis Village
- Causeway Point
- Clementi Central
- Compass One,
- Junction 8
- Jurong Point
- Northpoint City
- Serangoon Road
- Tampines Central
- Tampines Mall
- Toa Payoh
