If you’re as obsessed with taro as we are, you would have read our guide to the best orh nee desserts in Singapore. Here’s another one to add to the list: Shang Pin Hot Pot‘s Taro Mochi dessert, priced at $9.80++ per cup!

After some digging, we found out that the brand had posted an IG post on their page on 28 July 2023, announcing the launch of the new dessert. Each cup seems to be generously packed with creamy taro paste, layered with chunks of chewy mochi in between. Soft and QQ taro balls crown the yammy dessert.
Based on Shang Pin Hot Pot’s reply to a comment on the post, the Taro Mochi dessert is available for both dine-in and takeaway.

If you can’t get enough of sweet treats, the restaurant also offers a Milk Tea Pot (price TBD) that’s brimming with liao.

Each serving includes red beans, chewy Taiwanese-style yam balls, grass jelly and more. This creamy and refreshing treat seems to be the perfect way to end any hotpot sesh.
There’s even a bingsu pot that you can consider sharing among the table if you’re a fan of Korean shaved ice!
