McDonald’s brings back the Quarter Pounder with Cheese
McDonald’s has a way of quietly reintroducing fond menu faves to their menu. We saw the same happen with the Chicken McCrispy, and now, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Fans of this thicc burger can rejoice, as it is now available at the McDonald’s outlet at SAFRA Yishun.

Priced from $6.75, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese’s comeback is a “trial” to gauge customer demand. If popular enough, it may return to McDonald’s main menu for good—but that’s just us speculating.

The burger was taken off the menu in 2017, though makes us feel like its never left. Each burger comes with a quarter-pound beef patty, a slice of American cheese, onions, lettuce, ketchup, and pickles, all sandwiched within sesame seed buns.

Both Single and Double (from $8.35) Quarter Pounder with Cheese are available. Head down soon to Yishun if you’d like to try the burger out.

In other McDonald’s news, the brand recently brought the McPepper back, with exclusive Pokemon packaging. ICYMI, the McPepper was launched last September, but was only on the fast food chain’s menu for a month. Now, with its return, you can get your McPepper served in a Charizard design wrapper. They’ve also introduced Teh-C Frappe, served in a cup decorated with Pikachu or Scorbunny graphics, and the Pulut Hitam Pie, which sports an Eevee decal on the box. These are available at McDonald’s outlets islandwide, for a limited time.

For more new F&B news: Milksha recently launched their range of Kyoho Grape bubble teas, where purchases come with a free thermal bag you can use to dabao lunch. Acclaimed local singer JJ Lin will also be opening a pop-up cafe, Miracle Coffee, in Marina Bay Sands at the end of this month, with drinks like kaya coffee on the menu.
