McDonald’s has been known to reach out to the community every once in a while to show support. They did this earlier this year during Ramadan when they provided meals to the less fortunate. They wanted to make sure that everyone could break their fast properly! This time, they are paying tribute to a group of people that we rely on every single day. The food delivery riders!
Paying Tribute To Hardworking Delivery Riders

Yesterday afternoon, over 140 McDonald’s outlets provided a total of 15,500 meals to food delivery riders. The initiative was part of McDonald’s first-ever Delivery Riders’ Day, which commemorated, celebrated, and thanked food delivery riders for their dedication and contributions. Food delivery riders from any platform simply had to visit a McDonald’s restaurant in Singapore while dressed in their delivery uniform between 2pm and 5pm to receive the free meal, which included a 2pc Chicken McCrispy® Salt+Pepper, Banana Pie, and Dasani Water.

Benjamin Boh, Managing Director mentions that as a pioneer in the delivery business, they have established themselves as a brand with a significant presence in Singapore. They take pride in giving our customers feel-good moments. They’re incredibly grateful to all food delivery riders in Singapore who support them in this delivery experience. Also, they understand that the pandemic has hit them hard, and wishes to reward them for their hard work.
