The stall is hidden away in a long stretch of different stalls at Bedok Reservoir road. The stall itself is ironically hard to miss! You can tell from the menu alone how diverse yet straightforward it is. They serve four types of fried rice, each with six different toppings. Their menu is carefully curated to ensure varying flavours, textures and even spice levels! The staff are also happy to recommend their favourite combos as well as what you might enjoy based on your palette.

Normally, fried rice is made using day-old rice, some fresh and high-quality eggs and some simple spices. At Fried Rice Story, they level up your experience with the many toppings, bold flavours and of course- Wok Hei. Despite being around other stalls, when they start frying, the aroma from their dishes alone will bring you in! They are making fried rice to another level!
Scrumptious Truffle Egg Fried Rice

This may look like any regular fried rice, it is anything but! This is their famous Truffle Egg Fried Rice. This dish features the classic egg fried rice components. Egg, day-old rice, green onions, lots of white pepper and a wok. However, they have added truffle oil (and lots of it) to level up this dish to the max! The smoky wok, along with the deep, earthly flavours of truffle permeates the dish! Truly a different experience than your normal fried rice. Don’t forget to top this dish with crab meat and Ikura for more texture and flavour!

The Truffle Egg Fried Rice ($10.90) is something you treat yourself to. The rice is fluffy and seasoned thoroughly. Despite the usage of truffle oil, the egg flavour is not lost in the dish. The truffle’s earthy notes complement the egg flavour and are a surprisingly ingenious combination. The toppings are out of this world. The crab meat is juicy, flaky and sweet. The Ikura adds a slight brininess and popping texture. The chilli adds a nice spicy to each bite as well. Overall a dish that is chock-full of flavour!

You could also add a Jumbo Crab Meat Omelette ($12) to eat along with your fried rice! The egg is fluffy and soft, it pretty much melts onto your fork! It also has generous chunks of crab meat laced throughout the omelette as well! If that’s not enough, they have an amazingly tart and refreshing green chilli sauce that would help cut through the richness! This is the perfect side dish!
