Tai Wah Pork Noodle: Famous Bak Chor Mee Stall Opens A New Outlet At Holland Drive
The new branch is located in BGAIN 293 Eating House, which is a short bus ride from Yishun MRT Station. It opens daily from 7:30am, so you can get your brekkie fix in time before heading to work.

Do note that this popular bak chor mee stall is not to be confused with the Michelin-starred Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodles, which has only one stall along Crawford Lane. While both stalls seem to feature similar menus and ingredients, what sets them apart is their signature sauce mix for the dry bak chor mee version.
Prices start at $5 for a bowl or Pork Noodle AKA bak chor mee, or Mixed Pork Soup. The former lets you choose between dry or soup; the former comes with al dente noodles tossed in a special concoction of sauces, vinegar, lard and chilli, topped with the pork liver, minced meat, meat balls, dumplings, and fried sole fish.

You can also opt for the soup version, perfect to warm you up on a rainy day. The broth is rich in umami thanks to the dried sole fish, or ti po, and comes with minced meat for additional flavour.
For more food in the area, check out Daruma Tavern if you’re up for hearty KL-style hokkien mee and Ipoh curry noodles in the North. Alternatively, head to Muyoo at NorthPoint City for mochi bread filled with black sesame and peanut.
