KFC Golden Durian Mochi
As the success of KFC‘s Golden Durian Mochi showed last time around, Singaporeans love to have durian with just about anything, even fried chicken. To appease our durian-crazed nation, KFC is bringing back the popular fried mochi balls from 21 March 2022!
The dessert, which is a deep-fried mochi with a D24 durian filling, was introduced last year. It only took a few weeks to be completely sold out, so fans of the dish will be glad to hear of its return.

Each golden orb features a crispy exterior matched by a centre filled with molten durian lava and chewy mochi. Priced at $3.95 for five pieces or $7.80 for 10, the Golden Durian Mochi is available at all KFC outlets except for Singapore Zoo and Singapore Polytechnic.
While tasty on its own, the mochi can be paired with KFC’s iconic fried chicken for a sweet-savoury combination. If you don’t want to order the usual Original or Hot & Crispy flavours, then go for the BBQ Cheese Zinger ($7.20). This burger takes the usual Zinger chicken fillet and adds smoky chipotle BBQ sauce along with the chain’s signature KFCheese sauce.

Alternatively, you can get some of KFC’s new value-for-money deals. From 21 March to 5 April, there’s the Chicken & Tenders Buddy Meal ($9.95, U.P. $24.70) that is perfect for sharing with a friend. The deal gives you three pieces of Original Recipe Chicken and two Hot & Crispy Tenders, along with two servings of Whipped Potato and Pepsi Black.
