The menu showcases a multi-faceted hybrid of several recipes from his journeys around Asia, paying tribute to cuisines from Korea, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore
Some highlights include 15 Stamford Chicken Rice ($22.90), Lotus Leaf Fried Rice ($31.99), Pork Prime Rib Bak Kut Teh ($35.63) and Black Angus Beef Short Rib ($41.09).
Get the Singapore Laksa ($30.17) made Katong-style, where the thick beehoon rice noodles are cut into shorter bite-sized strands so the dish can be eaten with a spoon alone sans chopsticks or fork.
The creamy coconut-based lemak broth made with house-made rempah, is further enhanced with special dried shrimp and sprinkling of dried shrimp floss.

Of course, you should have a pizza to go along. Highly recommended is the Pizza Calabrese ($28.36) from the Calabria region of Italy.

Named after owner Chef Guan, the stall has been serving masterfully done mee pok since 1995. He created his own formula in making noodles and had them custom made in a factory.
The result is the noodles’ firm yet bouncy texture appealing to many – which still remained springy after delivery.
The signature dish Guan’s Mee Pok ($7.74) comprises of al dente noodles served with minced pork and the right amount of vinegar sauce. And unlike other mee pok stalls, it includes a hanjuku egg.
Enjoy sea-centric variations such as Guan’s Prawn Mee Pok ($13.31), Guan’s Abalone Mee Pok ($15.45), or the Sesame Crispy Prawn Paste Mee Pok ($9.56).

Get the Paneer Butter Masala for soft cubes of paneer, a low-fat Indian cottage cheese, are simmered in a rich and creamy tomato and butter gravy. Slightly sweet with a tang, the gravy is packed with flavours herbs and spices.

What stands out for Konjiki Hototogisu is that base is cooked using Hamaguri clams and pork broth, resulting in that unique clear soup with full-bodied flavour.

It is known for its unique dishes such as USDA Black Angus “Choice” Ribeye Beef ($92.02), St Louis Grilled Pork Ribs ($41.73), Smoked Pork Curry ($32.64), Foie Gras Egg Special ($12.31), and Boss Bee Hoon ($14.98).
Its Fried Hokkien Mee Special ($20.33, good for 2-3 persons) fried with squid, tiger prawns and pork belly is known to be wet, gooey with wok-hei – well encompassing the savoury flavours of rich prawn stock.
Tonkatsu by Ma Maison

Tonkatsu by Ma Maison is known to serve up juicy top-grade Rosu Katsu (Loin) & Hire (Fillet). The pork all go through a special aging and marinating process, then breaded and deep-fried till crisp with succulent meat.
Some of the must-tries include the Kurobuta Rosu Katsu ($35.03) which uses premium black pork loin; as well as Prawn & Rosu Katsu Set ($27.54) with 2 pieces of deep-fried prawn, pork loin, cabbage, rice and miso soup.
Worthy of mention is the white and multigrain rice cooked Kamado style which is a traditional Japanese cooking method, in which the grains will emit a distinct fragrance.
