One of the main features of redpan is the fact that the restaurant tries to add a fun element to the customer’s dining experience, offering a wide selection of mains but adds a few creative twists.
Start with the Salmon Mentaiko Donburi ($18) from Akai – which is described as their “umami bomb”, with mentaiko sauce topped with fresh salmon with fragrant Japanese rice.
Akai also offers Spaghetti dishes with a Japanese element, including Forest Mushroom Infused Miso Pasta ($16), Dashi Hokkaido Scallop Aglio ($18), and Salmon Hotate Mentaiko Pasta ($19).

The dessert consists of brioche, laid over two layers, and decorated with gems made from sugar.
