Beyond the Dough brings Tokyo Neapolitan-style pizza to Singapore

Beyond the Dough has just opened its doors near Bugis MRT Station, bringing Tokyo Neapolitan-style Pizza to our shores. Tokyo Neapolitan-style refers to the way the pizza is made here, which requires pizza dough to be aged for 30 hours before getting wood-fired in the oven.

The pizzeria is helmed by Japanese chef Eddie Murakami, who perfected his pizza-making techniques at Japan’s Michelin-recognised Pizza Strada and Pizza Studio Tamaki.

One can expect a variety of flavours when you dine here—Beyond the Dough offers traditional favourites such as Margherita (price TBD), which consists of mozzarella, basil and tomato sauce, and Diavola (price TBD), made with salami, mozzarella, and sliced jalapenos.

If you’re looking for a pizza with more robust flavours, choose from their house-exclusive selection which includes Cacciatore (price TBD), a pizza crafted with onion, basil, olive, chicken sausages, and cheese, or Bismark Pizza (price TBD) with mushrooms, salsiccia, cheese, egg, and percino, just to name a few.

To capture the hearts of Singaporeans, Beyond the Dough has also launched a Singapore-exclusive pizza, the Singapore Rampage (price TBD). This pizza consists of a hot and spicy sauce, laden with shrimp and chilli, alongside garlic and basil.

Beyond the Dough currently only has one non-pizza dish, the Homemade Lasagne (price TBD) for one. Their drinks include the Tokyo Beyond Squash as well as their selection of alcoholic beverages.

Do take note that Beyond the Dough can only sit 28 patrons at one go, so be sure to make your reservations before heading down!
As part of their soft opening, the restaurant is only open for dinner from 5pm to 11pm, with the last order at 9:45pm). All-day dining will be available after their grand opening on 9 March 2024.
