New in: Uncle Lee Confectionery is bringing their novel cake vending machine to the new Bukit Batok West Hawker Centre on 21 March 2025!

Get Old-School Cakes Dispensed From A Vending Machine In Woodleigh

The popular old-school bakery debuted their vending machine concept at Woodleigh Village Hawker Centre in February to much fanfare, so we’re excited about this upcoming West-side launch.

We heard that the fresh cake offerings are the same as their Woodleigh location. You can choose from four cake flavours: Kaya Pandan ($22.10), Peanut Butter Sponge Cake ($15.80), Chocolate Butter Sponge Cake ($15.80), and Rainbow Chocolate (price TBD). Each cake is six inches, which gives you about five to six slices.

Ordering is simple as the machine operates with a touchscreen. After you’ve placed your order and paid, the cake is retrieved with a delivery tray, before it’s gently lowered to the collection point at the bottom.

The cakes are restocked daily, once at 12pm and again at 5:30pm, so their freshness is guaranteed.

If it’s your first time trying Uncle Lee Confectionery, we recommend their signature Kaya Pandan cake, comprising soft pandan-infused sponge cake layered with a creamy and smooth kaya pudding.

Their Peanut flavour is another hot favourite; this old-school cake stars a soft vanilla sponge layered with a sweet-salty buttercream, coated with copious amounts of crushed roasted peanut bits on the outside.
