For the uninitiated, Tororitenshi No Warabi-Mochi is a popular dessert chain with over 140 outlets across Japan. They recently made their mark in Singapore at VivoCity just last month, in August 2024.

You can expect their famous Original Warabi Mochi here, priced at $7.80++ for six pieces or $14.80++ for 12. These bite-sized treats are made from bracken starch, and then dusted with kinako AKA roasted soybean flour, for a silky-smooth mouthfeel and nutty flavour. There’s also an option to top up $3++ for a pot of green tea, which cuts through the sweetness of the dessert.

For something less traditional, try their Chocolate Warabi Mochi, which is available at the same price!

If you liked the warabimochi-infused beverages at Warabimochi Kamakura, chances are you’d enjoy the drinks offered at Tororitenshi No Warabi-Mochi. Popular flavours include Strawberry Yoghurt ($9.80++), Royal Milk Tea ($7.80++), and Peach Milk ($9.80++). These beverages come with the brand’s soft and jelly-like warabimochi bits within.

You’ll find their IG-worthy parfaits here too, including the Signature Strawberry Parfait ($11.80++). You get strawberry puree layered with dango and matcha ice cream, topped with even more mochi and fresh strawberries—the perfect treat on a hot day.

Besides these desserts, you can also enjoy a satisfying meal exclusively at the new Changi City Point outlet. They’ve rolled out a whole new range of Omurice mains, including Sausage Omurice ($12.80++), Chicken Cutlet Omurice ($14.80++), and Hashed Beef Omurice ($14.80++). These dishes feature Japanese rice with a silky and fluffy omelette, drenched in a savoury brown sauce.

That’s not all: the chain has also recently opened two more branches at The Centrepoint and Funan, so you can head there if you’d like your warabimochi fix in a central location.

In related dessert news, McDonald’s now has a new pineapple soft serve! Get it in Soft Serve, Twist Cone, Sundae, and McFlurry forms. You can also check out our Waffle Aunty feature for freshly made waffles and egglets in Kovan.
