Gelato Garden has spinning gelato in Haji Lane
Whereas many cafes have their ice cream made elsewhere before they are sold in-store, Gelato Garden is unique in that the process of making their gelato is done entirely in front of your eyes.
If you walk into this Haji Lane cafe, you’ll notice these large machines that continually churn all the different gelato available here. This “spinning” effect is certainly quite hypnotising, and is good for the ‘gram. The continuous spinning motion is also said to make the gelato smoother and creamier.

Like many ice cream places, the gelato here is sold by the scoop, which you can either have in a cup or a cone.
There’s an interesting range of gelato flavours here, too. Peach Oolong (from $6), Musang King Durian (from $8), and Arabica Hazelnut Coffee (from $7) are among the more eye-catching options here.
There are also more classic gelato picks such as Gold Pistachio (from $7), 70% Dark Chocolate (from $6), Salted Caramel (from $6) and more. Regardless of which flavour you pick, you can expect the gelato here to be silky-smooth and wonderfully creamy.
Gelato Garden’s interior is relatively modest, with a few bright pink stools and a counter area where customers can sit and enjoy their ice cream. While it’s not the most comfortable dining space, we think it provides some respite from the heat outside, and the spinning gelato on offer is reason enough for you to check this cafe out.
