Takashimaya Food Fiesta runs till 1 July 2024

June seems to be the month of exciting food fairs and dining promotions, what with Gastrobeats 2024, Woodlands MRT food street and more.  Another addition to this list of events is Takashimaya Food Fiesta, back from now till 1 July 2024!

GastroBeats 2024 Has Over 50 Different Food Stalls, Including Pandan Corndog, Mochi Croffle And More

There are over 55 stalls to check out, ranging from Korean street food and local delights to Japanese noodles and snacks.

You can find Seoul Hotteok’s heart-shaped Sarang Hotteok ($7.50) here, which also made an appearance in the Hello Korea Fair at Takashimaya just last month.

This fried-to-order Korean pancake comes with a rich Nutella middle, and boasts a slightly chewy texture.

If you’re a fan of chocolate-covered-anything, head to Berry Bar, which also has a kiosk at the fair.

Inspired by the TikTok-viral chocolate-coated strawberries from London’s Borough Market, Berry Bar offers chocolate-coated strawberries ($9/$16), bananas ($5/$9), and more. You can also DIY your dessert with toppings such as Biscoff biscuits and Oreo crumbs at $0.50 each.

Savoury fans can also get their fix at Wooga Jjajang for their signature Jjajang Myeon ($14), featuring springy noodles tossed in a sweet-savoury black bean sauce.

End your feast on a sweet note at SugarBellySG‘s kiosk, where you’ll find their popular mochi doughnuts, said to give Mister Donut a run for its money.

These deliciously chewy doughnuts, priced at $6 each, come in a range of flavours such as Biscoff, Sweet Potato, and Matcha Strawberry. They’re said to be crispy on the outside, with a QQ texture within!

Based on Takashimaya’s website, other stalls to look forward to include Edith Patisserie, known for their delicately flavoured cakes, and Qian Shui Wet Market, which sells local fare such as scallion oil noodles. We also spotted a Japanese kiosk with tempura and soba!

The street food fiesta will be happening till 1 July at Takashimaya Square, B2. Head down before it’s too late!
