The word is in: L’antica Pizzeria da Michele is slated to open in Singapore this April 2024. The famous brand is one of Naples’ oldest pizzerias, having been around since 1870. They’re also known as the Eat Pray Love pizzeria, having been featured in the movie in 2010.

L’antica Pizzeria da Michele is touted as one of the best pizza spots in Naples, according to the Michelin Guide. Their original Naples eatery also has over 37,000 reviews on Google at the point of writing, so you know they’re really well-known.

In Italy, the pizzeria offers only two pizzas—Marinara (tomato, oregano, and garlic) and Margherita (tomato and mozzarella)—but that doesn’t stop them from drawing long lines throughout the day.

Back to Singapore: L’antica Pizzeria da Michele Singapore marks the brand’s first outpost in Southeast Asia! The new eatery will be located in the CBD at 8 Club Street, a four-minute walk from Telok Ayer MRT Station.

It’ll also be the first pizzeria in Singapore to offer handmade pizza a ruota di carro—wagon wheel pizza, a classic Neapolitan-style pizza starring extra thin and wide dough that’s larger than the plate holding it. The pies here will be topped with simple yet high-quality ingredients imported directly from Italy.
The pizzeria has already made its mark across the globe, with international outlets in Japan, Spain, and the UK. We’re stoked to see the full lineup of the upcoming Singapore outpost’s offerings, and will update this story as soon as we get more information!
