If you are in town and craving a satisfying bowl of noodles, look no further than GO Noodle House, a famous noodle shop in 313 Somerset. Part of a restaurant chain that started in Kuala Lumpur, GO Noodle House is known for their large variety of noodle dishes that can be customised to one’s liking.

Their bestseller is the Signature Bursting Meatball Noodles ($10.90++), which is served in their “Superior Soup”. This soup is said to have been prepared with more than 14 types of fish bones as well as rice wine, giving it a rich yet comforting flavour. Upon biting into the meatball, its juices burst out, revealing its savoury, meaty flavour. For spicy food lovers, you can also select their Homemade Sour and Spicy Soup at $11.90++ for a more fiery option.

Another option to consider is the Hakka Sauce Mee with Century Egg ($14.10), served with minced meat, anchovies and shallots. The noodles, which are made fresh upon order, are said to have a wonderfully chewy texture. Meanwhile, the savoury Hakka sauce supposedly complements the ingredients well.

On top of their mains, GO Noodle House also has side dishes and drinks. Indulge in their homemade Five Spice Meat Roll ($9.00) and Fried Fish Cake ($6.60) which goes well with the noodles. Choose from their selection of drinks to end your meal on a sweet note, with prices starting at $4.90 for their Snow Pear, Passionfruit, and Kum Quat tea
