Koggii has Korean cai png with free-flow sides at Suntec City

While cai png is a cornerstone of our local food culture, its choose-your-own-liao concept makes it easily adaptable to other cuisines. Koggii, a new Korean restaurant at Suntec City, has done exactly that with its “Korean cai fan” concept, available for lunch every weekday, from 11:30am to 3:30pm.

To start your Korean cai png meal, you’ll need to pay a fee between $11.90++ and $13.90++, depending on what dishes are offered that day. Those dishes are split into two categories: the side dishes, which are free-flow, and mains, which you can only redeem once.

The side dishes include Korean staples such as cabbage kimchi, gimbap, crab meat pancake and more.

Because these sides are laid out in a buffet station, you can genuinely keep going back to get as much of these as you want. Unlike actual cai png, you won’t have to get past the cai png auntie first.

You will, however, have to get past the cai png oppa for the main dishes. On the day we visited, the two main dishes were the Spicy Sotong Chicken Bulgogi and Spicy Pork Bulgogi.

We enjoyed both these main dishes, particularly the piquant and savoury pork bulgogi, which went well with the fluffy white rice. FYI, both white and brown rice are also free-flow here.

If you can’t drop by for a weekday lunch, fret not. By night and on weekends, Koggii becomes an all-you-can-eat  Korean BBQ place, with few cai png dishes for you to enjoy as well. It’s an interesting spot to enjoy Korean dishes no matter the time of day!
